Set up monitoring in the way that fits your workflow

  • Select text on any HTTP/HTTPS page and save it directly from the context menu.
  • Choose whether a rule watches only this tab or all tabs on the same domain.
  • Run Auto Refresh intervals from 1 second, with the browser-friendly scheduling model used for longer intervals.
  • Use the interface in English, Portuguese, or Spanish.

Easy to Use, Powerful to Control

Install the extension and click its icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the control panel.

Choose your tool: set an Auto Refresh interval, add a rule in the popup, or select text and use the context menu.

Keep the monitored tab open. Text Watcher provides visual feedback and alerts while Chrome allows the page and extension to run.

Note: Intervals below 30 seconds run in the page content script; longer intervals use Chrome alarms. Either may be delayed. Discord and Telegram alerts send the configured domain and rule text to those optional services.
